The French superstar has been linked with FC Barcelona for quite some time, and Barcelona are reportedly ready to make a stunning bid for Griezmann.
Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are all set to end the Griezmann transfer saga. The Catalan Giants are reportedly paying €115 Million to land the French forward.
Barcelona has been rampant in the transfer market of-late. Barcelona has now spent close to £350 Million in the previous transfer window. The amount is spent on forwards alone as they spent £135.5m for bringing Ousmane Dembele from Borussia Dortmund. In the January window, the club signed Philippe Coutinho for £108 Million + signing bonuses.
According to various media sources, Barcelona remains interested in signing Antonie Griezmann from Atletico Madrid. Barcelona is keen to spread the cost of payments. Manchester United is also reportedly circling for Euro 2016’s top scorer again. Hence, according to Sport, the pair (Griezmann-Barcelona) have made a pact to sort a deal ahead of the World Cup.

Sport reports that Barcelona are willing to pay an extra €15 Million to settle the Griezmann deal. The Frenchmen has been in a phenomenal form this season, scoring and creating 34 goals for Los Rojiblancos. Griezmann is due to play against Marseille in the final of Europa League. Atletico Madrid is currently second in the points table with 78 points from 37 games, twelve points behind the league leaders Barcelona.
It can turn out to be one of the best decisions Griezmann can make. His arrival will surely help Barcelona a lot. His arrival at Barcelona will give Ernesto Valverde a greater range of options in attack, as the 26-year-old can operate on wings, as a lone striker or pair up with Luis Suarez up front.
Griezmann is a team player, as he is quick, modern and a versatile left-footed forward. Due to lack of creative options at Atletico Madrid, he is equipped with playing at many positions on the attack.
