With Barcelona all set to win at least two major titles this season, the Catalan club can already start preparing for next season.
The midfield will be an area to strengthen with Iniesta, Rakitic and Gomes either on the wane or out of the club in the summer. Barcelona will surely be targeting a high quality midfielder, with the likes of Christian Eriksen and Marco Verratti their prime targets in the summer.
Full backs is another area of concern for Barcelona, as they are not yet happy with the present ones. The Catalans are also in the market for a capable back-up player for Jordi Alba, as they will be looking for a left back in the summer.

According to reports, Lyon’s Ferland Mendy is someone that Barcelona are showing some interest in and will put in a bid for him after the World Cup.
Mendy was a major target for several English sides, but eventually ended up staying in France. His strong performances may still give him an outside chance in making the French squad as well, as Mendy will be looking to impress his national team coach.
Mendy joined Lyon from Le Havre for just 5 Million, as the left back quickly established himself as one of the best full backs this season. Barcelona will also look to strike a deal before the World Cup, as that will probably be a cheaper deal.
Barcelona will hope that Mendy makes the move to the Camp Nou, as that will just increase the competition and make the squad better equipped for the season.
