Barcelona will visit Huesca as they aim to further strengthen their position in the league. We take a look at the Barcelona predicted line up vs Huesca.
Barcelona gained momentum in their bid to secure a second consecutive league title last week.
The side defeated Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid 2-0, with goals from Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi providing Barcelona an 11-point lead in the game.
Barcelona also registered a 1-0 win in the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinal against Manchester United.
Ernesto Valverde, the Barcelona manager, stated in the pre-match conference for the game against Huesca that he may opt to rest key players for the league fixture.
Let’s take a look at Barcelona’s predicted line up for the match.
Barcelona predicted line up vs Huesca:
Goalkeeper: Marc-Andre ter Stegen
The Barcelona manager may prefer to start his first-choice goalkeeper for the game. Huesca may be at the bottom of the table and have lost all of their last five games, but they’ve scored in each of them.
With Gerard Pique suspended for the game, the presence of ter Stegen may provide support to a new centre-back pairing for Barcelona.
Defenders: Semedo, Lenglet, Umtiti, Alba
Clement Lenglet and Samuel Umtiti may have been a chaotic partnership against Villarreal, but Valverde might opt for the duo in this game. Barcelona are in a much better position in the league at the moment, being 11 points clear of Atletico Madrid.
Clement Lenglet and Samuel Umtiti are the two defenders who will likely be holding the centre-back positions for years to come at Barcelona. And so, it is important that Valverde plays them together.
Nelson Semedo and Jordi Alba are expected to retain their places.
Midfield: Roberto, Rakitic, Alena
Sergi Roberto might be reinstated to the side as Valverde intends to make some changes in the squad. However, Ivan Rakitic might still feature, as Carles Alena replaces Arthur on the right.
Messi, Suarez, Pique, Rakitic, Busquets, Alba, Stegen, and Lenglet need to sit out the entirety of Barcelona’s match against Huesca tomorrow. These men must be fresh for Miracle Can Happen FC on Tuesday

Sergi Roberto was brought on in the second half in the game against Manchester United and was fairly decent in the limited time he spent on the field.
Forward: Coutinho, Malcom, Dembele
Ousmane Dembele may make his first start since his return to injury against Huesca. The French attacker was an unused substitute in the game against Manchester United, but Valverde would want Dembele in full match-fitness for the second leg.

A considerable amount of playing time might just be what Dembele would need in such a scenario.
Lionel Messi may rest for the clash, owing to injury during the game against Manchester United, and Malcom is likely to replace the Barca captain.
