Barcelona are set to begin talks with West Ham over potential transfer of Domingos Quina.
The Spanish teams are as always very busy in the transfer market. The rumour mill is making up stuff which is true and false everyday about the giants of football. Barcelona and Real Madrid are the two teams which are in spotlight day in and day out regarding the transfers. The trend is now to build a team around a young squad with one eye towards the future.
Real Madrid have managed nabbed the likes of Theo Hernandez, Dani Ceballos, Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo among a squad of other youth talents to rely upon. Marco Asensio and newly signed goalkeeper Andriy Lunin and right back Alvaro Odriozola also deserve a mention. It is now Barcelona who are planning to take the next generation by storm.
The Catalans already have a world class academy named La Masia. It has been the alma mater of talents like Leo Messi and Andres Iniesta while others continue to grow from the roots. They are also investing in players abroad to construct a young squad. Arthur Melo and Malcom are the most recent signings by the club. The midfielders followed Clement Lenglet.
Barcelona have now been linked to another budding winger, Domingos Quina. The Portuguese 18-year old, who currently plays at West Ham United, is now on the books of FC Barcelona. Residing and developing with the London based club, Quina is backed to have a bright future and has been compared to his compatriot Ronaldo.

He is currently busy involved in the UEFA U19 Championship in Finland. Representing Portugal on the Under 19 level, Quina was instrumental as the Iberians beat Ukraine 5-0 to march into the competitions final. They will take on Italy who emerged victorious against France.
West Ham have set an asking price worth 600,000 pounds for the 18 year old. In a world where grooming players rarely go for less than multi-millions, Barcelona could get in a world class winger for peanuts.
