Adrien Rabiot will receive a huge amount from Barcelona after agreeing pre-contract with the club.
Adrien Rabiot will receive a huge amount from Barcelona after the club allegedly pulled out of the deal. The Blaugrana agreed a pre-contract with the midfielder, but they chose to back out and sign Frenkie De Jong instead.
When he intended to leave PSG as he said in an interview, the club asked to find a club. The French International was kept out of the first-time activities since November 2018. He was available for free and many sides including Barcelona contacted him, but it is understood that the Blaugrana made a concrete offer and had an agreement to sign him in the summer transfer window.
The Spanish giants now owe huge money to the former PSG star, according to the Italian publication Sky Italia. Even though the numbers have not been mentioned, the club was prepared to hand him 10 million as bonus fee upon signing for the club. They will be paying that cash to the player, who was open for a move to Nou Camp.
The club does not have any reasons for that deal, but could have changed their mind after De Jong’s arrival. It has been a tough few months for the midfielder, who had some personal and professional setbacks.
Albeit those setbacks, the 23-year-old confirmed his negotiations with Juventus. He also opened the door for a potential move to Manchester United, should Ole Gunnar Solskjaer make contact with him.
The midfielder desired a huge lump of money, but he will earn 7 million with the Old Lady, who have offered him a new contract as per reports. Although, it needs to be seen where he would end up after rough negotiations with some clubs over the last few months.
