Barcelona Transfer News: Catalans ready to offer €70 million with two players for Inter Milan forward

Barcelona Transfer News: The Catalans ready to offer €70 million along with two players to Inter Milan for Lautaro Martinez this summer.

Barcelona is planning to boost its pursuit for Inter Milan sensation Lautaro Martinez as the Catalan club wishes to replace Luis Suarez in coming future.

According to a report by the Sport, Barcelona is ready to offer €70 million along with two players from the squad in exchange for the Argentine forward this summer.

The two players are reported to be Arturo Vidal and Nelson Semedo. Barcelona could save some cash an avoid doing yet another hefty sum transfer if Inter Milan agrees to this deal, as Martinez’s release clause is €111 million.

Inter Milan has been targetting Vidal since a while, they even tried to sign him from Barcelona last summer, as the Nerrazzuris manager, Antonio Conte views a fitting prospect for his further plans in him.

Whereas Semedo could be a good addition to the fullback department, as Inter Milan has very limited resources over there and he is probably an upgrade over Ashley Young in that position.

Moreover, Vidal also has certain issues with Barcelona and until now his chances were also very limited in the squad but the incoming of Quique Seiten and few injuries in the squad has boosted his minutes.

But it is still unknown till when it will last long, meanwhile, even after so long Semedo has to battle with Sergi Roberto for the first choice position as a right-back.

Coming to Martinez, he is certainly Barcelona’s topmost priority this summer. Fortunately, no other big club is after him except for Real Madrid, but even they have been very much passive in the process.

Even if Inter Milan rejects this offer, Barcelona would definitely be having an option of triggering the buyout clause of Martinez this summer.
