Barcelona twitter account hacked: OurMine take responsibility, leave message for Neymar and club president Bartomeu.
Barcelona found their twitter accounts hacked on Saturday night. The club’s social media channels were hacked by a club that identify themselves as ‘OurMine’ who left a series of tweets. Barcelona have several accounts in other languages, all of which appeared to be hacked along with that of the International Olympic Committee.
All Barcelona accounts sent out the following message:
“Well, this is the second time, the security level is better but still not the best,” followed by a suggestion that the solution was to contact them.

Barcelona issue response
FC Barcelona also confirmed the hack in a tweet on Saturday.
“FC Barcelona’s Twitter accounts have been hacked, which is why messages from outside our club have appeared, and which have been reported and deleted. The tweets were made through a third-party tool for data analytics” it said.
“FC Barcelona will conduct a cybersecurity audit and will review all protocols and links with third party tools, in order to avoid such incidents and to guarantee the best service to our members and fans. We apologise for any inconvenience this situation may have caused.”

The incident took place during Barcelona’s 2-1 win over Getafe at Camp Nou. The win helped them level with Real Madrid at the top of the table. However, Zinedine Zidane’s side currently lead on goal difference and could very well extent their lead to 3 points should they win against Celta Vigo on Sunday. However, a loss by at least two goals will send Barcelona back to the top.
