Barcelona's home kit for 2020/21 season is leaked

Barcelona’s home kit for 2020/2021 season has been leaked, as reported designs by the sportswear giants- Nike are circulating online.

Barcelona recently released all of their kits this season, and have really stole the show with its away and third kit. Barcelona wore its third kit for the first time against Borussia Dortmund in the first group stage game.

Moreover, with the home kit of this season, Barcelona has moved away from the tradition of including red and blue stripes in the designs. Now, the Catalan club has opted to go with check-boxes of same colours. To this, fans did not react well and preferred the away jersey

But in recent update, a recent kit allegedly designed by Nike has surface online, claimed to be the next season’s home kit of Barcelona.

A rough translation of the above tweet reads:

“The design that we will see for the next Barcelona shirt. There may be some different things (neck, cuffs), but it is confirmed that the stripes will have that style.”

So it appears that Barca will only be moving to the checkered pattern for one season, with a return to the classic stripes on the cards for 2020/21.

although, it is still a rumour but none of the officials either from Nike or Barcelona has denied the claim, which makes it suspicious.

Nevertheless, we have to admit that this seems to give a classic look, as Barcelona are speculated to return back to its traditional red and blue stripes, and a touch of yellow colour added to the kit.

For now, it is remained to see whether Barcelona will wear this colour next season or not. Till then, we have to look the Blaugranas in their current kits for the rest of the season.
