Bhajji accuses a Jet Airway pilot of racism and physical assault!

Harbhajan Singh came out on Twitter and condemned the actions of a Jet Airways pilot on a flight that he just took recently. Bhajji accused the Jet Airway pilot of racism and physical assault and demanded strict action to be taken against him.

“So called this Bernd Hoesslin a pilot with @jetairways called my fellow Indian (u bloody indian get out of my flight) while he is earning here,” Singh said in a series of tweets.jetairways

“Not only was he racist, but physically assaulted a lady and abused a physically challenged man… absolutely disgraceful and shame on @,” the cricketer said.

Jet Airways said that they make a full scale investigation about the same, while the pilot in question has been de rostered ever since the incident. Jet Airways

“Corrective action will be taken after due investigation. The airline has, as per policy, initiated a full-fledged investigation, based on specific inputs from guests, concerned departments and agencies,” they said.

This is shocking as Jet Airways has always had a very good reputation among the customers. Such incidents will not only damage the reputation of Jet Airways’ but it will also harm all the reputation of other air lines as well.

The timing of this incident is not great for Jet as there was a recent controversy surrounding their expat pilots. Last week the National Aviators Guild had said that Jet was treating their Indian passengers in a step motherly fashion as compared to their foreign customers.

Jet Airways said that they will take strict actions against these people and will investigate into the matter.
