Boston Celtics vs Indian Pacers Dream11 Prediction

Boston Celtics vs Indiana Pacers Dream11 Prediction : Dream11 Fantasy Tips for BOS vs IND as The SportsRush helps you form the best possible Dream11 Team.

Boston Celtics and Indiana Pacers go head to head in a game that might have serious
implications on the 1st round play off series between the two teams. Currently Boston sits 4th
on the table in the East while the Pacers are right under them in the 5th position. Both teams
have identical records of 47 wins and 32 losses with just 3 more games to go for both teams.
Boston holds the tie-break and hence hold the higher seed in the conference.

With 4th and 5th seeds playing each other in the first round, the higher seed gets home court advantage and that
might well matter with both teams holding boasting of losing records in away games through the
season.

Both teams come with their win streaks at 2 wins in the last 2 games. Over their past 10 games
neither team has been doing particularly well with the Celtics owning a 5-5 record while Pacers
recent slide has seen them finish 3-7 in the last 10 games.

So both teams would like a win heading into the playoffs and a psychological advantage might be at stake for the playoff series. In the past 3 games between both teams this season the home team has finished in favor of the
home team. So Pacers playing at home might have a real impact on the outcome of this game
and Boston will have to find a way to turn around their form away from home this season.

Boston Celtics vs Indiana Pacers Dream11 Prediction

Point Guard:

Kyrie Irving (19.5 Cr)

Kyrie is the only legitimate 20 point threat on a daily basis on either of the teams. Kyrie’s form in
the recent weeks has been great and his head to head numbers against Pacers are quite
impressive. He averages 24 points, 7 assists and 5 rebounds per game with 1.57 steals per
game. He is an automatic pick in this game.

Shooting Guard:

Wesley Matthews (10.5Cr)

Matthews was brought on to replace injured star Vitor Oladipo and while no one expected
Matthews to turn back the clock, he has been able to fill out the role that the Indiana system
requires from him. Ever since Oladipo went down fans and analysts have expected the Pacers
to drop and while their recent form hasn’t been great and has exposed a lack of a finisher, the
Pacers still are a win away from finishing above the much fancied Celtics and a significant
portion of the credit can be attributed to Matthews who has fit the system nearly seamlessly.

Small Forward:

Bojan Bogdanovic (12.5Cr)

Bojan Bogdanovic is the pacers most consistent scorer and has a healthy average of 18+ points
per game this season against the Celtics. He is a great 3 point shooter and with bruisers Myles
Turner and Damontas Sabonis doing the dirty work inside and being able passers themselves,
Bojan gets a good share of open looks from the outside that he buries at blazing 42.7% clip.

Gordon Hayward (10.5Cr)

Gordon Hayward take the second SF spot ahead of Jayson Tatum. Tatum for all the finesse in
his game, has been average this season. He is averaging 15.7 points per game this season well
below the expected leap that Celtics fans were expecting from him this season. Hayward started
the season off poorly but has been finally improving averaging 17.7 points per game away from
home in the past month and every time Hayward has scored 20 points this season, Boston has
won the game. So purely from points perspective a healthy Hayward provides better value for
money against Tatum, so he gets the pick.

Power Forward:

Marcus Morris (11.5 Cr)

Marcus Morris shows up big in games against the bigger opponents as their focus remains on
holding back the likes of Kyrie Irving and Jayson Tatum which allows Morris to operate more
freely. Morris averages 14+ points and 6+ rebounds per game this season and it only goes up
against bigger opponents. So Morris at his price is a good pick up.

Daniel Theis (6.0 Cr)

Theis is the best bargain pick up either team has to offer. Horford just returned from his injury
and so did Aaron Baynes. Theis has done well for the team in their absences and his stretch
factor will also matter against a resolute Indiana defense that has two very good defensive bigs
that limit opponents game inside the paint.

Center:

Al Horford (14.5 Cr)

There is real temptation to go with both Pacers Center to fill out the team but Horford is priced
lower than them both and while his defense isn’t on par with either of Sabonis or Turner, those
stats don’t fill up the points as much as offensive plays do. Horford remains one of the best
passing big men in the league and his range of shooting means he can impact against the best
defense that Pacers can play on him. Expect a vintage 18 points 7 rebounds 5 assists
performance from Horford which is great value at his price point.

Damontas Sabonis (15 Cr)

Sabonis or Turner is a tough choice. While both average similar numbers for the season, where
Sabonis just edges Turner in points and Rebounds while Turner averages more blocks given his
pogo stick hops. Sabonis comes in 1.5 Cr cheaper than Turner and his interior presence might
matter more against the Celtics who rotate and switch a lot on defense with Sabonis being a
good exponent of pick and rolls.

Star Player

Kyrie Irving

Kyrie has been great this season against big teams, especially in the Eastern Conference. Both
teams are more complete that super star heavy and Kyrie is the clear superstar in the game so
expect him to be the highest point scorer with ease here.
