#5 – Black Ops III
Most old-school CoD players hated this game when it came out. But as time went on, people began loving it. Sure, the campaign is a little questionable, but the scorestreaks, guns, and VFX were top-notch. The jetpacking and wall running experience are still enjoyable. This CoD makes its way into this list due to its high replayability.
#4 – Modern Warfare (Old and New)
The old version is what got casual FPS players hooked on CoD. This game is what started it all. With simple scorestreaks, deadly weapons, bigger maps, and beautiful sound design, CoD MW was the first CoD game for most of us. The newer version improved on the original and brought new features, making it on this list.
#3 – Black Ops
The original story of Mason and Woods, the dynamic duo, did a lot to keep us hooked on our screens. With beautiful multiplayer and a better story, this game captured the CoD experience jam-packed in a masterpiece.
#2 – Modern Warfare II (Old and New)
MW2 was a masterpiece. The flawless campaign, flawless multiplayer, and hard-hitting guns. Everyone remembers the ACR, the Scar, and Akimbos that decimated everything in sight. Scorestreaks like the Nuke made everyone run for their lives. Modern Warfare 2 was one of the best CoD games of all time. The new version made many improvements and gave us a better graphical presentation.
#1 – Call of Duty: Black Ops II
This is the PERFECT CoD. The best multiplayer with strong guns and a balanced meta, the story mode was a masterpiece with fan favorites like Alex Mason, David Mason, Frank Woods, Harper and the antagonist Raul Menendez. This was a perfect representation of the futuristic genre done right and it showed. This game had one of the highest player counts in gaming history.
