Charles Leclerc crash: Watch Ferrari driver crash into barrier at Azerbaijan Grand Prix as Ferrari suffer massive setback
Charles Leclerc did what Robert Kubica did in Q1 to crash into the barrier during Q2 of Qualifying at the Azerbaijan GP. The Ferrari driver was the quickest during free practice, with Ferrari once again ascertaining their authority over the grid.
However, once again they find themselves on the back foot, as Charles Leclerc won’t be featuring during Q3 , following that massive crash.
Leclerc was going into that sharp little turn in the castle area and he ended up locking up a bit before being unable to slow down in time for that tricky little turn.

He was visibly frustrated after the crash, telling the Ferrari radio that he felt like a stupid man.
Ferrari just can’t seem to catch a break, as they seem to have once again squandered the chance of winning a Grand Prix. While Vettel is still in contention for pole position, he doesn’t seem to be getting the best out of his medium tyres yet.

Now, all of Ferrari’s hopes rest with Sebastian Vettel, who will now need to drive out of his skin to keep the Mercedes drivers at bay.
