Chelsea Lineup Vs Arsenal: Chelsea predicted lineup for Europa League Final | Chelsea News

Chelsea Lineup Vs Arsenal: Here is how the Blues could lineup against Arsenal for the Europa League final.

Chelsea will take on Chelsea in the final of the Europa League at Baku, Azerbaijan on May 29th. The Blues have already qualified for the Champions League next campaign, but there is no better taste than landing a silverware at the end of the season.

Maurizio Sarri’s side form is similar to Unai Emery’s Arsenal by registering only one victory out of the last five league games. They never stamped the authority in the Semifinal tie against Eintracht Frankfurt despite having an equal share of possession. The Blues were on the wrong end during the first three penalties, but Frankfurt missed their next two spot-kicks, paving way for only one victor.

Chelsea have fault all over the pitch – from the backline to forward line. They have never looked convincing since the first three months of this campaign, when they looked enthralling by playing special football and keep up the pace with Manchester City and Liverpool.

Arsenal were rampant against Valencia by scoring seven past them in the last four despite poor outcomes in the Europa League finale. Unai Emery has already won the Europa League thrice and heads as favourite into this fixture.

In this article, we shall look at Chelsea’s team news.

INJURIES

Maurizio Sarri confirmed that their midfielder N’Golo Kante is unlikely to feature in the finals after missing a month due to a hamstring issue. Dynamic midfielder Ruben Loftus Cheek ruptured his Achilles tendon when featuring against New England Revolution in a friendly fixture. Those two join Antonio Rudiger and Callum Hudson Odoi on the treatment table.

SUSPENSIONS

Apart from injured players, Chelsea will have rest of the squad available.

LIKELY XI

Chelsea: Kepa Arrizabalaga, Cesar Azpilicueta, David Luiz, Andreas Christensen, Emerson Palmeiri, Jorginho, Ross Barkley, Matteo Kovacic, Eden Hazard, Willian, Gonzalo Higuain.
