Chennai City FC Transfers: Completed transfers of the I-League 2018/19 winners

Here are the completed transfers of Chennai City FC.

Chennai City FC are the reigning I-League champions. The Indian league produced an exhilarating show as it went down to the wire to decide the champions. The Tamil Nadu outfit were the front-runners, but they were coy on not slipping up as East Bengal were on their heels.

They overcame as stubborn test in the final to clinch their debut I-League campaign. They also played the Super Cup, but they could do not make it count in that tournament.

Since the club has a habit of producing players, plenty of big clubs from the India Super League lure them on a yearly basis. They have been a product factory for other clubs having produced the likes of Soosairaj Michael, Nanda Kumar in recent years.

The club was forced to sell some of their players, but they have shown ambition as well. The business has been top-notch on the other side this year. They have done well to keep the core by retaining Pedro Manzi, Roberto Eslava, Sandro Rodriguez, and Nestor Gordilla. They have also kept the likes of Ajith Kumar, Sriram, and Charles.
