29 Months After Visiting Celebrity Hairstylist Aalim Hakim, Yuvraj Singh Gets New Look From Samantha's Salon

Former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh has been a style icon since time immemorial. Recently, his new look came across as a source of amazement for the fans. Around 29 months ago, he was seen getting styled by celebrity hairstylist Aalim Hakim. Yuvraj, however, preferred to visit Samantha’s salon this time around.

In March 2021, Singh had posted a picture of himself and Hakim on social media platform Instagram. Singh, who mostly supported a stylish yet short-length hairstyle throughout his playing days, was seen growing his hair at the time. Some of the fans even compared him to veteran pacer Ishant Sharma, who is famous for long hairs in addition to his bowling capability.

For the unversed, Samantha’s Salon is in Bandra West, Mumbai. Not just Singh, but other celebrities such as Yami Gautam, Uorfi Javed, Karishma Tanna, etc. have also visited the same place for their styling lately. It is a unisex salon that provides all haircare services.

Yuvraj Singh posted multiple stories on Instagram where he was seen flaunting a new hairstyle. He has trimmed his hairs to a large extent from the sides and kept it pretty long from the back. We have not seen Singh is such a look before. Singh, however, is not the first Indian cricketer who has experimented with his hairstyle. Legendary captain MS Dhoni has also done the same a lot of times.

Yuvraj Singh put on display a fresh new look at the premiere of R. Balki’s ‘Ghoomer’. The recently released Hindi movie stars Abhishek Bachchan, Saiyami Kher, Shabana Azmi and Angad Bedi in pivotal roles. Having played 196 matches for India across formats alongside pacer Zaheer Khan, Yuvraj posed happily for the paps along with the left-arm bowler.

Ghoomer, meanwhile, has been receiving a lot of praises from the cricketers. Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan posted a video on social media where he was giving his positive feedback about the movie. Other former and current Indian cricketers such as Virender Sehwag, Kapil Dev, Ajinkya Rahane, etc. have also urged the audiences to watch this cricket-based movie.
