In what is going to be the 28th Australia-South Africa bilateral Test series, Australia have won 17 as compared to six South African series wins. Australia, who will be hosting South Africa for the 12th time in a bilateral Test series, have won five but lost the last three series in a row against them. South Africa, who haven’t lost a Test series down under since 2005, have won three out of their last four Test series against the Aussies.

With a Bangladesh-India Test match being played simultaneously, there are chances of Sony not televising the Gabba Test at all. Therefore, Indian fans might have a lone option in Sony LIV, official streaming app of Sony, for watching the first Australia-South Africa Test match.
