Gabba Test record: Brisbane Test records and highest innings totals
The first Test match of South Africa’s tour of Australia 2022 will be played in Brisbane from tomorrow. The third Test of the ongoing Australian summer will be the first of this year to be played at this venue.
Set to play a Test match against each other after 57 months, a three-match Test series between two fierce rivals is highly likely to be the pinnacle of this season down under.
South Africa, who will be playing a Test match in Australia after more than six years, will be playing one at The Gabba after a decade. Having won two out of their four Tests at this iconic venue over the years, the Proteas are yet to lose a Test here.
