The third Test match at the Perth Stadium will also be the first-ever instance of West Indies participating in this format at this venue. As far as playing in the city is concerned, West Indies will be taking part in a Perth Test after 13 years. Interestingly, their last Test win in Australia had also come in Perth 25 years ago.
A two-match Test series between Australia and West Indies will be the 28th time when these two teams will face each other in a bilateral Test series. Historically, Australia have won 17 as compared to eight West Indian series victories.

The last time when West Indies had lifted the Frank Worrell Trophy was three decades ago. Since then, Australia have won 10 Test series (eight in a row) against them. Speaking particularly about playing down under, Australia have won 10 and lost four out of 15 Test series against West Indies at home over the years.
Australia vs West Indies 1st Test Live Telecast Channel in India and Caribbean
As had been the case during the previous bilateral series of this Australian summer, Sony Sports Network will continue to broadcast international cricket being played in Australia for the Indian audiences. Although Sony Sports 5 appears to be a front runner, we will update the exact name of channel once Sony uploads a confirmation (yet to be done).
Sony LIV, Sony’s designated streaming application, will be streaming West Indies’ tour of Australia 2022 in India with a paid subscription. Both the platforms are highly likely to broadcast matches only in English commentary.
Both Channel 7 and Foxtel will be televising this Test series for the Australian fans. Kayo Sports, which continues to offer free trial for new subscribers, will be streaming Perth Test exclusively in Australia.
Fans in the Caribbean will be able to watch this series on SportsMax. However, they must be vary of the start time as a late night fixture will begin on November 29 for them.
