DY Patil Stadium pitch report 2nd T20: India W vs Australia W pitch report DY Patil Sports Academy

India Women will take on Australian Women in the 2nd T20I of the 5-match series at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai. The track was excellent for batting in the first match, and it will be interesting to see its nature in the 2nd T20I of the series.

India Women lost the last game convincingly, and they would be eager to make a comeback. The lower-order batted really well in the last match, but the top-order has to fire. It is to be seen how the Indian bowlers will improve their performance against a quality Australian attack.

Australia Women dominated the first match, and they are expected to do the same as well. They are the world champions, and they played like one as well in the last match. It is unlikely that they will tinker with their team.

DY Patil Stadium pitch report 2nd T20

The pitch at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai was absolutely amazing for batters in the first match, and the same can be expected in this match as well. There is absolutely no help in the wicket for any kind of bowlers, and the batters can play the shots at their will at this very ground.

This is a red soil wicket, so there is a good amount of bounce that the batters can take advantage of. The boundaries are made short, whereas the outfield of the ground is quite fast as well, which will assist the batters. However, the same pitch can be used for this match which will allow the spinners to play their part in this one.

A total of 20 IPL 2022 games were played here with an average 1st innings score of 170 runs, which indicated that it is a brilliant batting track. With the dew factor in mind, both captains may opt to bowl upon winning the toss.
