Happy Birthday Yuvraj Singh: The former Indian all-rounder has received heartening birthday wishes on his 39th birthday.

Former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh has turned 39 today. The southpaw, who had played pivotal roles in India’s World Cup winning campaigns in 2007 and 2011, is receiving heartening birthday wishes since midnight.

Post his retirement from international cricket last year, Yuvraj captained Toronto Nationals in the second season of the Global T20 League 2019 and represented Maratha Arabians in the Abu Dhabi T10 League the same year.

The two-time World Cup winner also traveled to Australia to take part in the Bushfire relief match in addition to playing for India Legends in the Road Safety World Series earlier this year.

A handy left-arm spinner, Yuvraj had picked 148 wickets across formats which also included an ODI five-wicket haul (10-0-31-5) against Ireland during the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011.

In his 12-year long IPL career, Yuvraj represented six franchises namely Kings XI Punjab (twice), Pune Warriors India, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Delhi Capitals (then Daredevils), Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians.

In 133 IPL matches, Yuvraj scored 2,750 runs at an average of 24.77 and a strike rate of 129.72 including 13 half-centuries. Yuvraj’s 36 IPL wickets had come at an average of 29.92, an economy rate of 7.44 and a strike rate of 24.14.
