Chasing the target of 167 runs in the last innings, England continued with their attacking approach and chased the target in just 28.1 overs. Ben Duckett scored an excellent half-century, and Stokes was also standing tall till the end.

Ben Duckett was speaking to Sky Sports after winning the Karachi test, and he revealed that captain Stokes wanted to end the match with a six, but he could not do it on the last ball of the 28th over, he tried to hit it over long-on, but the distance was not enough.

Duckett said that Stokes wanted to finish the match with a six as he wanted to break Brendon McCullum’s record of most sixes in test cricket. Currently, the captain-coach duo is equal on the tally with 107 sixes under their belt. Stokes equaled McCullum during this series only.
“Fitting Stokes was there at the end, he wanted to hit a six to go past Baz, he wanted it bad,” Ben Duckett said to SkySports.
Stokes had a decent series with the bat, where he scored 173 runs in the series with the help of 4 sixes and 17 boundaries. Duckett also had an incredible series, and he scored 357 runs at 71.40 with the help of 1 century and 3 half-centuries.
