After registering six editions in less than a decade, the seventh one of the ICC T20 World Cup will kick-start after a five-year hiatus from tomorrow.
Scheduled to begin with Round 1 comprising of eight teams fighting for four spots to join the eight qualified teams in Round 2 (Super 12s), the first day of prestigious tournament will witness a double-header as co-hosts Oman will take on Papua New Guinea and Bangladesh will face Scotland. It is worth mentioning that both the matches will be played at the Oman Cricket Academy Ground.
While Round 1 will be played between October 17-22, Super 12s will begin with Australia locking horns against South Africa in Abu Dhabi and ODI champions England facing T20I defending champions West Indies in Dubai on October 23.

All in all, the 29-day affair will witness a total of 45 matches to be played across two rounds and four venues namely Al Amerat, Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah.
