India Women vs Australia Women T20 Live Telecast Channel in India and Australia: When and where to watch IND-W vs AUS-W Mumbai T20I?

With an eye on the T20 World Cup 2022 in a couple of months from now, India and Australia’s women sides will lock horns against each other in a five-match T20I series, with the first match of the same to begin on Friday (tomorrow) at the Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy in Mumbai.

The Harmanpreet Kaur-led side not only have a tough challenge ahead of themselves against the world champions, but will also have to gel along well with their newly appointed batting coach Hrishikesh Kanitkar, after Ramesh Powar was removed from the team’s head coach post all of a sudden, on Tuesday.

Despite having won 13 of their previous 20 T20I matches, team India do not boast of a good head-to-head record against the Aussies, having won only one T20 encounter against them out of seven in India.

With pace bowling allrounder Pooja Vastrakar not part of the squad, right-arm medium pacer Anjali Sarvani has earned a maiden India call-up, with Southpaw batter Devika Vaidya also making it to the squad after 2014.

Alyssa Healy will, on the other hand, lead the Australian side in the absence of Meg Lanning, with the latter continuing with her indefinite break from the sport owing to personal reasons.
