Jaydev Unadkat finally got the rewards of his hard work when he got selected in India’s playing eleven in the 2nd test against Bangladesh in Mirpur. Unadkat has been excellent in domestic cricket for Saurashtra, and he has some record numbers under his belt.

This is the 2nd test for Unadkat after a spell of 12 long years, he made his test debut in 2010 against South Africa in Centurion and could even pick a single wicket in that game. However, he opened the wicket column for the Indian team in the Mirpur test where he scalped the wicket of Zakir Hassan, which is his debut test wicket.

The mini-auction of IPL 2023 will take place tomorrow in Kochi, and the left-arm pacer would want to earn some bids from the auction table and performing in this match may help him to increase his valuation. He is currently without an IPL team, and it can be an important auction for him.

Jaydev Unadkat IPL salary (updated)

Jaydev Unadkat started his IPL career with Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2010, but his IPL salary for that season is not known. He was there with the team for a couple of more seasons, where he earned INR 1.15 crores in 2011 and 2012. Unadkat then played for Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals as well.

Unadkat made his return in the 2016 season with Kolkata Knight Riders, but his fortunes changed in the 2017 season. In 2017, Rising Pune Supergiants Bought him for a nominal price of INR 30 Lacs, but he was excellent in that season and scalped 24 wickets in just 12 matches.

Unadkat hit a jackpot in the 2018 auction, where Rajasthan Royals bought him for INR 11.4 crores, but he could not deliver as well. Rajasthan Royals then kept releasing him and bought him again for lesser price in the auctions. He was bought by Mumbai Indians last year for INR 1.3 crores.
