Lanka Premier League pitch report today

A total of 6 matches of the Lanka Premier League have already been played at this stadium so far, and the pitch has finally started to favour the bowlers. In the initial games, the batters were enjoying the surface, but in the last couple of games, it has been seen that the bowlers have done well here.

Out of the 6 games played here, 3 are won by the teams batting first and 3 are won by the chasing teams. The average 1st innings score here has been just 146, which proves that batting has been tough here. The pitch is getting slower and slower, and the spinners will play a big role here.

The outfield of the ground is on the slower side, and the boundaries are small in size. In the initial overs of the game, the pacers are getting some movement, and spinners are vital in the 2nd half of the match. Both sides may opt to bat first upon winning the toss here.
