LPL Sri Lanka 2022 schedule: Lanka Premier League 2022 fixtures and all match list

The action of the third edition of Lanka Premier League (LPL) will commence from December 6 (Tuesday) onwards, with the grand finale scheduled to take place on December 23.

For those unaware, the LPL 2022 was initially slated to take place in the month of August, but an unprecedented economic crisis in the island nation had left no other option but for a postponement of the same.

Akin the second season, the tournament this year will yet again feature five teams, namely Colombo Stars, Dambulla Giants, Galle Gladiators, Jaffna Kings and Kandy Falcons.

A total of 24 matches will take place at three venues in Sooriyawewa (Hambantota), Pallekele, and Khettarama (Colombo). After each team plays the other four twice over, one of them will get eliminated after the end of the league stage, with the remaining four to feature in the IPL style playoffs.

The tournament opener will be played between previous season champions Jaffna Kings and Galle Galdiators on December 6 at Hambantota.
