The first T2oI of the ongoing England’s tour of Pakistan is all set to be played at the Old Trafford in Manchester tomorrow. The match will be the first T20I to be played in England in the last 480 days.
Co-incidentally, the last T20I to be played in England was also between England and Pakistan. England had won that match by 7 wickets on the back of a 65-run partnership between captain Eoin Morgan (57*) and Joe Root (47).
Coming on the back of a 1-0 Test series victory, the hosts would be keen to carry forward the momentum tomorrow. It is worth mentioning that England have won four out of their last five T20Is against Pakistan.

With the match being the first T20I to be played between Test playing nations since the COVID-19 break, both England and Pakistan would be having eyes with respect to building their teams for the two ICC T20 World Cups coming up in as many years.
Manchester Weather for England vs Pakistan T20I
Much like the whole Test summer, rain might once again affect the first T20I between England and Pakistan. Going by the current weather forecast, there are chances of showers pouring down in Manchester during early morning, morning and afternoon.
However, it is the rain forecast at 05:00 PM (local time) and 07:00 PM (local time) which might affect the match that is scheduled to begin at 06:00 PM (local time). With a rain probability of 60% during these aforementioned evening hours, both fans and players would be praying to the rain gods to not interfere tomorrow.
A potentially good news is that there is no rain scheduled to fall down after 7 PM (as of now). If that happens, the ground staff should be able to conduct the match even if it hints at playing a less than 20-overs per side match.
