Narendra Modi Stadium Pitch Report for GT vs SRH IPL 2023 Match in Ahmedabad

Gujarat Titans will go head to head against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 62nd match of Indian Premier League 2023 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. This track has been an absolute belter so far this tournament and the fans will again expect some fireworks in this match.

The Titans lost their last match and they will aim to make a comeback. If they can win this match, they will certainly confirm their place in the top-2. Rashid Khan proved in the last match that he deserves to be called an all-rounder. They are one of the most stable teams in the tournament.

Sunrisers Hyderabad are almost out of the competition and if they lose this match, they will be officially eliminated. They have shown some glimpses of their talent but never have been able to put in consistent performances. Hyderabad will have to punch above their weight to get a positive result here.

The pitch at the Narendra Modi Stadium has been absolutely splendid to bat on in the tournament so far. There is a very nice carry on the wicket which is being enjoyed by the batters. Out of six matches played here, five of them have been high-scoring. The batters will again enjoy their time out there in the middle.

The average first innings score this season has been 188 runs in Ahmedabad. Out of six, three have been won by the chasing teams and three by the teams batting first. There is no particular help for any specific kinds of bowlers, but in the initial overs, the pacers can get some movement.

The boundaries here are not that big which encourages the batters to play explosive shots. A hot day is expected in Ahmedabad and the temperature can go as high as 42-degree Celsius in the afternoon. Considering the dew factor, both captains may opt to bowl after chasing. Anything below 180 runs can be a below par total.
