Having hosted four Tests and as many T20Is in the last 12 months, Karachi is all in readiness of hosting its first ODI after as many as 39 months. Venue to Pakistan’s last three Test matches played within just over three weeks, National Stadium will now be witness to three Pakistan-New Zealand ODIs slated to be played within a five-day period.

Currently equal with Lahore among Pakistani venues on the back of hosting eight international matches since the start of 2022, Karachi will gain a lead after hosting a total of six international matches within 30 days after the culmination of this imminent series.
With the city hosting only a couple of ODIs since international cricket returned to Pakistan in real sense lately, there are not many relevant records for this venue due to a large majority of active cricketers never really getting to play here.
