It is a natural tendency for the cameraperson to focus on the players exhibiting myriad emotions upon the fall of say an important wicket, or post accomplishing a major milestone.

With all of these emotions being raw, the viewers watching the same on the screens before them naturally get the impression that the match environment remains pretty disciplined, and the players sweat it out on the field with utmost intensity at all times.
While much of it is indeed true, there are also quite some moments on the field which largely go unnoticed, wherein the players also indulge in some leg-pulling, fun activities, or even a simple game of rock-paper-scissors.
Glenn Maxwell Defeats Virat Kohli in Rock Paper Scissors Game
It happened during the 11th Over of the Punjab Kings‘ run-chase against Royal Challengers Bangalore at Mohali. Punjab batter Jitesh Sharma went for the DRS after being adjudged LBW by the umpire. While the third umpire was taking his time in order to arrive at the correct decision, RCB’s stand-in skipper for the day Virat Kohli, and star batter Glenn Maxwell indulged themselves in a game of rock-paper-scissors.
The brief moment was caught on camera and apparently, as claimed by Maxwell later, it was he who had defeated Kohli during the game.
“Poor predictable Virat, always goes paper,” remarked Maxwell, while poking fun at his skipper. In what goes without explaining, Maxwell had gestured the scissors with his hand to beat Virat, who had come up with the paper. The scissors beats paper in the game by cutting it.

RCB register their third win of the season
On the back of a 137-run stand for the opening wicket between Kohli (59) and Faf du Plessis (84), and later a remarkable exhibition of fast bowling from Mohammed Siraj (4-0-21-4), helped RCB defeat PBKS by 24 runs.
With three wins and as many defeats, they are presently placed at the fifth position in the points table with six points.
