SAT20 League schedule 2023: SA T20 fixtures and match list

After a lot of waiting and a failed Mzansi Super League, South Africa finally has its own T20 Franchise league. South Africa cancelled their ODI series against Australia for the league, and the board would hope that this tournament will be a huge success in terms of numbers and quality.

There are a lot of eyeballs on this tournament because all the franchises are owned by the IPL owners and their popularity is certainly over the roof. The tournament will start from January 10, and the final of the tournament will be played on February 11. It is interesting that the tournament will take a break of 8 days in between because of South Africa vs England ODI series.

South Africa’s cricket has been under a lot of pressure, and this league can certainly add a boost to the cricketing economy of the country. Some of the big names are taking part in the competition, and the charm of IPL teams will be helpful for the tournament.

All the teams will face the other teams twice in the league stage on home & away basis, and the top 4 teams will seal their place in the semi-final after the league stage. You can check the squad of all six teams by clicking here.
