"SKY knows no limits": Twitter reactions on Suryakumar Yadav emulating MS Dhoni to nail helicopter shot vs KKR

Suryakumar Yadav emulating MS Dhoni: The batsman from Mumbai Indians scored yet another impressive half-century in the IPL.

During the fifth match of the ongoing 14th season of the Indian Premier League between Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians in Chennai, Mumbai Indians batsman Suryakumar Yadav scored his 12th IPL half-century to boost momentum into the innings.

Coming in to bat at No. 3 in the third over, Yadav outperformed captain Rohit Sharma as the latter predominantly played a second-fiddle to him.

Having forced a sweep off veteran Kolkata Knight Riders spinner Harbhajan Singh on the second delivery that he faced, Yadav hit two more fours in the same over to get going at the MA Chidambaram Stadium.

Yadav, who had outscored Sharma in the powerplay, took on the attack against Knight Riders pacer Prasidh Krishna hitting him for a six and two fours in the eighth over.

It was on the penultimate delivery of the 10th over that Yadav put on display his version of the helicopter shot to emulate former India and current Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. In what was a proper well-timed shot off Pat Cummins, it witnessed the ball hitting the roof of the stadium.

Looking to hit boundaries even after completing a personal milestone, Yadav hit a big shot too many as KKR all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan dismissed him in the 11th over. In what was his 21st T20 half-century, Yadav departed after scoring 56 (36) with the help of seven fours and two sixes.
