Sourav Ganguly: The legendary cricketer has been admitted to a hospital in Kolkata following a complaint around a cardiac issue.

Former India captain and current BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) President Sourav Ganguly has been admitted to a hospital in Kolkata after complaints of a cardiac issue.

Ganguly, 48, has been receiving good wishes around his health from the cricketing fraternity around the world. The Bengal Tiger is said to be in line for an operation which will be conducted by a three-doctor panel at the Woodlands Hospital in Kolkata.

The development came to light after journalist Boria Majumdar took to social media platform Twitter to provide updates on Ganguly’s health. Laying emphasis on Ganguly being “stable” and likely to be discharged in the “next few hours”, Majumdar explained in detail as to how the legendary cricketer’s health deteriorated.

A source close to Ganguly has also interacted with ANI to share details about the former’s health. The conversation also highlighted that Ganguly is “out of danger”.

Dada [Sourav Ganguly] complained of chest pain and was rushed to the hospital. He might need to undergo angioplasty. He is out of danger,” the source was quoted as saying by ANI.
