Chennai Super Kings is all set to play their first match at home ground, MA Chidambaram stadium, against Kolkata Knight Riders on Tuesday (10th April).

But the pro-Tamil outfit Tamizhaga Vazhvurimai Katchi (TVK) has threatened that they will let loose snakes inside the stadium if the CSK team plays against Kolkata Knight Riders according to India Today.

Recently, Rajinikanth has requested to shift the games of the Indian Premier League (IPL) out of Chennai. He has also urged the players and the audience to wear black armbands to show their support for the long lasting issue.

According to Times Now TVK chief Velmurugan has said that if CSK plans to play their match as per the schedule, the protesters who support Tamil Nadu’s demand for more water under the Cauvery water row will disrupt the match right inside the stadium.

Chennai Super Kings CEO K S Viswanathan has demanded forcefully that the team’s home matches will go on as per schedule. The city polic has been informed about the schedule of the matches and will handle the situation accordingly.

The Authorities has already put forward some strict restrictions before the match. To avoid any accident during the match, no one will be allowed to carry any types of electronic equipment like laptops, mobile phones, remote controlled car keys, cameras and any type of bags inside the stadium.

The authorities have also banned banners and flags inside the stadium. There will be 4000 police officers in charge to ensure smooth conduct of the game.

This thread is not only for the match tonight but any match that will happen in Chennai.

Chennai’s crowd has not seen the yellow boys in actions for the past couple of years as the CSK team was banned. After a long time, the fans would be able to watch the home team and Mahendra Singh Dhoni back into actions.
