Southampton weather forecast 5 days: What is the weather prediction for England vs Pakistan Ageas Bowl Test?

Southampton weather forecast: The SportsRush presents for you the detailed weather prediction for the second ENG vs PAK Test.

The second Test of the ongoing Pakistan’s tour of England will begin at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton tomorrow. For a pleasing change, England have gained a 1-0 lead over the opposition after the first Test of their Test series.

Given the manner in which the hosts won the first Test, they are bound to be high on confidence with winning momentum being on their side. On the other hand, it won’t be easy for Pakistan to come to terms with the fact that they lost a match which they would have won on nine out of ten occasions otherwise.

Having said that, the absence of England vice-captain Ben Stokes has it in it to aid the visitors. Even when he was playing as a specialist batsman, Stokes took charge with the ball and dismissed two Pakistani batsmen at a crucial juncture. Such is be the impact which England will miss in the next two Test matches.

Pacer Ollie Robinson has joined England’s 14-man squad as Stokes’ replacement. It will be batsman Zac Crawley who will resume his role at No. 3 in the Test side. While Pakistan haven’t announced any change to their Playing XI as of now, they might make at least one for this match.

Southampton weather forecast

If the weather forecast at this point in time is to be believed, rain might affect the match in patches just like the previous four Tests this summer. The forecast for all the five days remains pretty much the same, i.e., slight possibility of rain and gentle breeze in action throughout the day.

As far as rain is concerned, the prediction for the first two days is in the range of 40%-45%. While the same drops down to about 15% for Day 3, there’s a slight rise (30-35%) for the remaining two days. Even if rain falls on a few occasions, it shouldn’t affect the match in totality.

The temperature on all five days is expected to remain in the range of 15 degree to 26 degree.
