Inclement weather conditions dominated proceedings for most parts of India’s tour of New Zealand for the limited Overs series, with the third and final ODI too forced to be called-off due to rain.

Team India, however, did end up being the happier side from the result point of view, as they were in for a one-sided defeat with the Kiwis comfortably heading towards the paltry 220-run target with 9 wickets in the bank.
However, the Shikhar Dhawan-led side did suffer a series loss 0-1, having lost the first ODI at Auckland by 7 wickets.
The team will next tour Bangladesh with a nearly full-strength squad and with Rohit Sharma back as the leader of the side after the semi-final exit against England in the recently concluded T20 World Cup in Australia.
Upcoming India cricket matches
The Indian team will commence the tour with a three-match ODI series against Bangladesh starting December 4 (Sunday) at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Dhaka.
Post the three ODIs, a two-match Test series is on the cards, with the first Test beginning from December 14 onwards in Chattogram.
While the exact dates are yet to be confirmed, team India will then play three home ODIs and as many T20Is against Sri Lanka, beginning by the end of December and continuing till January 2023.
Post the above series, it will be the Kiwis who would arrive in India next, to play three ODIs and T20Is too by end of January and continuing till February 2023.
Post this, from February-March 2023, India will take on the Aussie challenge in a four-match Test series at home, which will also be part of the World Test Championship 2021-23.
