The 19th season of England’s prestigious T20 competition, T20 Blast, is all set to begin from tomorrow as eight teams will be seen in action across Manchester, Worcester, Taunton and Canterbury.

After County Championship 2021 and the first Test against New Zealand last week, Vitality T20 Blast will be the third major tournament in men’s cricket as far as the ongoing English summer is concerned.

Considering how a lot of multi-format players are not part of the current Test squad, expect the first few rounds of T20 Blast to be a star-studded affairs as multiple A-list names will hit the ground running ahead of white-ball series against Sri Lanka and Pakistan.

The optimist in him is waiting for the day when Punjab Kings will win their maiden Indian Premier League title. When not watching cricket, he is mostly found in a cinema hall watching a Punjabi movie.
