Weather Of Galle Sri Lanka Tomorrow For SL vs PAK 1st Test Day 1

The first day of Pakistan’s tour of Sri Lanka 2023 could be hit by monsoon rains in Galle tomorrow. Second two-match Test series in July between Sri Lanka and Pakistan in as many years, it has it in it to face the wrath of the weather gods.

While it isn’t raining around the Galle International Cricket Stadium at the moment, the forecast for the first day of the first Test is such that weather could make its presence felt especially towards the evening.

In fact, readers must note that practice sessions of both the teams haven’t been affected by rain in the built-up to the series.

Weather Of Galle Sri Lanka Tomorrow

A hot, humid and cloudy day in Galle will witness the temperature ranging between 29-31 degree. Needless to say that it will feel much more hotter than what the mercury is being predicted at.

As far as the chances of rain are concerned, reliable weather portal AccuWeather predicts a rain probability just above 30% for a large part of the playing hours on Sunday. It is worth of a mention that the first two sessions of the day will be conducted with a rain probability in the 30s.

However, it will only be after 04:00 PM (local time) that this criteria will jump into the 40s for the first time on Day 1. As a result, players, fans and most importantly, the ground staff, should be prepared for an interruption in the evening session.

Taking into consideration how there’s a tendency among concerned individuals to cover the whole ground in Sri Lanka, one doesn’t expect rain to do a lot of damage as far as the outfield is concerned.
