Cricketing biopics that should be made
4. Yuvraj Singh
This flamboyant left-hander from Punjab is one of the best players to look at when on song. Who can forget the iconic six sixes in an over off the hapless Stuart Broad! However, there is much more to his story than just this. Hence, he should be part of one of the possible cricketing biopics.
Yuvraj has mentioned in several instances about how his father brought him up to play cricket. This rigour of practice shaped up Yuvi into a mentally strong character. It helped him stitch together amazing knocks and was the main contributor during both of India’s World Cup triumphs.
The biopic could dissect his life from his upbringing to his rise in the Indian cricket. Following this, the character he displayed to rise above the menace of cancer and forge a comeback is something that can fill theatres. This is certainly one to watch out for and can match the interest received by MSD’s biopic.
