A lot has been made about Ronaldo’s decline and to be fair, 2019 was a rough year for the Portuguese. However, the turn of the decade has seen him back in form and the former Manchester United star decided to roll back the years against a current United star who is currently on loan with Roma.

Cristiano Ronaldo found himself one on one against Chris Smalling inside the box after latching on to a pass. He then produced a lovely roulette and spun around Smalling before sending cross with his left foot.

To be fair to Smalling, he has been brilliant for Roma this season. However, stopping a free flowing Ronaldo was always going to be a tough ask.

With Inter Milan having played a draw earlier in the night, Juventus are now back at the top of the Serie A with a 2-1 victory over AS Roma. Roma came close to the pulling the match back to level after Diego Perotti sent one behind the nets from the spot in the 68th minute. However, Juventus did not wilt and maintained their lead all through.
