Cristiano Ronaldo wants to help out McDonald Ladies who helped him during childhood

Cristiano Ronaldo wants to help McDonalds ladies who helped him when he was without food in Madeira.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s interview with Piers Morgan hit the television on Tuesday night. Several pundits and fans appreciated that interview, as the Portuguese International revealed some untold stories, mainly during his childhood.

In this, Cristiano Ronaldo was shown unseen footage of his father praising his son in Lisbon. His father passed away in 2005 because of alcoholism, and he gave an interview to a random Norwegian TV before his demise. The Juventus forward has not watched that video beforehand and burst into tears after that video during the interview.

While the full interview hit the channel yesterday night, a particular story from Cristiano Ronaldo was heartwarming. Hailing from Madeira, the Portuguese International used to play football and live with having dinner at times.

He recalls those incidents when he used to roam around the streets without proper food with full hunger. When he used to leave the playground, Cristiano Ronaldo asked the McDonalds about the availability of burgers before he reaches his house. They even helped him out for a longer period of time.

He said: “We were a little hungry. We have a McDonald’s next to the stadium, we knocked on the door and asked if they had any burgers,” he said on ITV.

“There was always Edna and two other girls. I never found them again.”

The McDonalds restaurant is now closed but Ronaldo wants to find Edna so he can “give something back” following her selfless gesture to him.

“I asked people in Portugal, they closed the McDonalds, but if this interview can help find them, I would be so happy,” he added.

“I want to invite them to Turin or Lisbon to come have dinner with me because I want to give something back.”
