CSK hints at buying Yuvraj Singh

CSK hints at buying Yuvraj Singh: IPL Champions have hinted at buying the veteran Indian batsman in IPL 2019 auction.

IPL Champions Chennai Super Kings took to their Twitter account to hint at buying veteran India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh in the imminent IPL 2019 auction.

Super Kings, who won the title for the third time earlier this year on their comeback in the tournament, have only a couple of spots left to fill in the auctions which is just minutes away from now. With INR 8.4 crore left in their squad, CSK can acquire the services of only Indian players.

In a bid to know what the fans want, all franchises had conducted polls with respect to which players do fans want in the auction. As far as CSK are concerned, the name of Yuvraj has been doing the rounds for the last few days.

Major reason behind the same is the Dhoni-Yuvraj partnership, which has won numerous matches for India over the years. For a franchise like CSK who bought a lot of senior players ahead of the last season, one can’t rule out the idea of them opting for Yuvraj.

Currently in not the best of forms, Yuvraj was released by Kings XI Punjab last month. If Yuvraj remains unsold, it will surely come as a disheartening news for his plethora of fans for watching a star all-rounder like him not playing in the IPL will be the last thing they would be hoping for.

Super Kings posted a GIF on Twitter which depicts a scene from a South Indian movie. One can guess a friendship sequence being run in the post. “Now on repeat mode hoping for the best! If YOU know what WE mean!,” read the caption on the post.

The caption is a significant hint regarding watching Super Kings bidding for the senir cricketer. Watch CSK’s tweet below:
