CSK vs SRH Dream 11 team Prediction and Fantasy Cricket Tips| IPL Match 41 as The SportsRush helps you form the best Dream 11 team

CSK return to their home ground for a repeat of last year’s final on Tuesday evening. 2 losses in 2 games and suddenly CSK find themselves in a little bit of a soup. But with the Chepauk being the fortress that it is, CSK fans all over know that normalcy should return when they take on SRH.

SRH on the other hand are coming off two wins on the trot, one of which was against CSK in the reverse fixture at Hyderabad. But that game transpired without the watchful eyes of MS Dhoni on the field, as he was rested.

The former Indian captain came back with a bang in the last one though, scoring a miraculous 84 off 48 balls to almost take CSK home in what would have been one of the greatest chases of all time.

With MS Dhoni back at the helm of affairs for CSK, things could turn out to be very different for CSK and SRH this time round.

Let’s get to business now.

CSK vs SRH Dream 11 team Prediction

Wicketkeeper for CSK vs SRH Dream 11

Jonny Bairstow and MS Dhoni go at it for the wicketkeeper’s slot. Now, while Dhoni played one of his finest IPL knocks in the last game, I still go in with Bairstow, as he bats higher up the order.

With Rayudu batting at 4, Dhoni has now quite often demoted himself to number 6 in the batting order and thus you cannot really be sure as to what number of balls would he get to face in the middle. With Bairstow being in the form of his life and opening the batting, it makes more sense to draft Bairstow in.

Bowlers for CSK vs SRH Dream 11

We all know what the Chennai wicket will have to offer, with spin dictating terms. And when that is bound to happen, you ought to draft in two of the best leg spinners in this IPL. Both Rashid Khan and Imran Tahir have been lynchpins of their respective bowling units.

Bowling during the middle phase and sometimes at the death, these two stalwarts know how to let the ball do the talking, especially when conditions are in favour of them. While dew would play a huge role in Chennai, these two bowlers possess enough skill to get the wickets even when the ball is wet. Get the duo in.

Deepak Chahar has bowled exceedingly well for CSK in the powerplay, chipping in with a couple of wickets on regular occasions and that too top order batsmen. He is now also being entrusted with one over at the death, something that might help him claim that extra cheap wicket. On current form, you can’t leave him out.

For my last bowling pick, I would be getting in Khaleel Ahmed, who has been on song for SRH ever since he was drafted into the XI at the expense of Siddharth Kaul. Khaleel has two 3 wickets haul to his name in the last 3 games, having picked up a total of 7 wickets. Again, on current form, don’t leave him out.

All-Rounders for CSK vs SRH Dream 11

Dwayne Bravo is back in the mix for CSK and he is a necessity in your Dream 11 team, as he bowls at least 3 overs at the death, with Dhoni making him bowl 4 on most occasions.

His slower one’s are sure to grip the surface at Chepauk and could get extremely difficult to get away. With the onus on the batsmen to score quick runs at the death; Bravo is sure to gift you some cheap wickets and bucketloads of Dream 11 Fantasy points.

Ravindra Jadeja’s left arm spin works best on a turning track, as it is the one that goes straight with the arm that outfoxes the batsman on a regular occasion. Leave Jadeja out on your own risk in Chennai.

Batsmen for CSK vs SRH Dream 11

David Warner would be my first batting pick for this game for obvious reasons. With the kind of form he has been in this season; it would be foolish to leave him out. Get the orange cap holder in at all costs.

Kane Williamson would be the second batsman that I get into my team for this game. While he hasn’t been on song this season, I get Kane in because of his ability to play spin well. On a turning and sluggish track in Chennai, Kane’s brilliance with the bat could be the difference between the two sides. Not a lot of Dream 11 managers would pick him and he could act as your trump card for this game. Get him in for his ability to play spin.

Faf du Plessis has been in fine form for CSK at the top of the order and bats at a position which allows him to bat at probably the best possible time in the game. Again on current form, I get him in.

Rayudu or Shankar?

For the final batting pick for this game, I am left with 9 cr and feel Ambati Rayudu is the best possible pick. For the final slot, it was a direct shootout between Vijay Shankar and Rayudu(much like India’s world cup squad). I chose Rayudu over Shankar because getting Shankar in would mean that I implicitly predict the result of CSK vs SRH to go in favour of SRH, as I have the top 4 SRH batsmen in my team.

And with CSK playing at home, that is something that won’t quite happen. Thus, to hedge my bets a little, I bring in Rayudu, who is a good player of spin and doesn’t have to deal with any serious pace from that SRH bowling unit(something that has troubled him over time).
