Alves has won almost all major football honors and titles. He has won the Italian, French, Spanish and European titles with different teams. He is however, yet to represent an English outfit.
Last year, Dani Alves was quoted as saying:
“The idea that I might finish my career without going to the Premier League, it is not possible.
“For sure, this is the most amazing football in the world. First, because of the respect for the players from the fans, and then because of the passion on the pitch.
“If I can play, that would be perfect, but I will make it there one way or the other.”
Dani Alves’ former boss Pep Guardiola, who now commands Manchester City was asked about Alves. Guardiola hinted that the Brazilian was not on his radar, but refused to rule out a possible move.

Dani Alves was reportedly looking forward to a move to Arsenal and was even willing to take a pay cut. However, Arsenal’s tight budget meant that Arsenal would have a tough time picking up his £200k-a-week wages.
