David De Gea: Manchester United set to keep De Gea after PSG snub him for Serie A star

David De Gea: Manchester United set to keep David De Gea as PSG are about to snub him for the Serie A star Gianluigi Donnarumma.

David De Gea was speculated to leave Manchester United this season for PSG, as the French giants were interested to sign the Spanish International.

However in recent advancements, it is discovered after a report published by the Sun that PSG are now targeting AC Milan first choice goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Manchester United were compelled to sell De Gea to PSG, as the negotiations over contract extension failed after the Red Devils declined to meet the demands of 28-year-old goalkeeper.

Since, De Gea entered into the final year of his contract this year, Manchester United were considering to lose him at a decent prize, instead of letting him go for free.

Hence, the club’s hierarchy were ready to accept the lucrative offer by PSG. However, the sudden shift in Les Parisien’s attention has given a lifeline to Manchester United to keep the player at the club.

The Spanish International is one of the few world class players left at the club, and has been guarding the Red Devils’ goalpost with upmost dedication.

However, the Spanish goalkeeper has been a subject to recent criticism after De Gea made high profile errors for Manchester United and ended up sixth in the Premier league.

Manchester United are reluctant to give drastic hike to De Gea’s wages because of their unbalanced bill of wages because of financial liabilities like Alexis Sanchez.

Although, in order to keep De Gea at the club, Manchester United have to negotiate with De Gea once again.
