David De Gea: Manchester United set to offer a new contract deal with the Red Devils amidst departure speculations from Old Trafford.
David De Gea is speculated to leave Old Trafford this summer, following failure of negotiations over a contract extension with the Red Devils. The Spanish goalkeeper is remaining only with one year in his contract.
Thus, it has aroused the interests of the French giants PSG to hire the services of De Gea from Manchester United. The Red Devils were willing to transfer the player this summer as the club thought that it would be better to sell him at a decent prize, instead of losing him for free.
However, in recent advancements, it has been suggested by a report by the Telegraph that Manchester United are ready to offer a new contract talks to David De Gea, in order to keep him at the club ahead of the next season.
The 28-year-old goalkeeper was seeking a high amount of wages as an upgrade but Manchester United were reluctant to scale his pay at this extent. Especially after his high-profile errors in the last phase of the previous season.
On the other side, PSG were ready to fulfill the demands of the Spanish goalkeeper as they wish to bolster their goal-keeping department by hiring De Gea.
However, Manchester United have decided to further convince the player for a bargain, as Ole Solskjaer finds him a key player and want him to be used amidst a squad overall.
Therefore, it is yet to be observed that where will De Gea commit his future as the transfer window continues.
