It was earlier reported that De Gea was not inclined towards signing a new contract due to disagreement in wages, but Daily Mail (via MEN) has now reported his demands.
According to the report, the Spaniard wants a 50 per cent increase to his current wages, which would amount to 300,000 pounds per week. It is also reported that the goalkeeper is keen to commit a long-term future to the club.
De Gea contract with the club expires at the end of the current season. The club, however, has triggered the contract extension, which would keep him at the till 2020.

It’s a no brainer if DeGea is keen on extending his stay at United… pay the man what he wants. He has clearly been the best player for the last several years.
