Virat Kohli is enjoying his off time with family and friends, recuperating from that neck injury that he suffered during the IPL.

Kohli’s plans of preparing for the English tour with a short county stint were shattered when he was diagnosed with this neck problem.

He was scheduled to play for Surrey and indulge in games from both limited and Test formats. However, he will now have to focus on his rehabilitation and get fit before the T20 series against Ireland.

The series against Ireland now is the only way Kohli can get some match practice under the belt before the all-important England tour.

During this off-season Kohli is completing all his sponsorship and off-field commitments.

Kohli’s statue will be unveiled at Madame Tussauds tomorrow and he put up an Instagram post to tell his fans about how they can go to the Madame Tussauds in Delhi and get themselves clicked with Kohli’s statue.

Kohli’s fans would be delighted with this message of his, especially the fans residing in Delhi.

David Warner’s response

David Warner is currently serving his 1 year ban from International cricket because of the infamous ball tampering incident in South Africa.

Warner will take part in the Global T20 league in Canada and will play for the Winnipeg Hawks.

Warner wasn’t able to participate in IPL 2018 because of his ban and thus missed out on some of that banter that he would have had with the Indian captain.

He didn’t quite leave that opportunity on Instagram, as he asked Kohli for a personal picture with him.
