The two times when both the teams had played against each other in IPL 2018, Delhi Capitals had defeated Mumbai Indians on both occasions. While Delhi chased down a 195-run target on the back of opening batsman Jason Roy’s 53-ball 91*, they successfully defended 174 run at Delhi on the back of three-wicket hauls from Amit Mishra, Harshal Patel and Sandeep Lamichhane.
