De Gea Contract: Astonishing details of David De Gea's new contract at Manchester United

De Gea Contract: Astonishing details of David De Gea’s new contract, as the Spanish International finally agrees a deal with Manchester United.

Manchester United and David De Gea were failing to finalize a new contract deal, since De Gea was not convinced with the offer proposed by the club.

The Spanish International was in the final year of his contract with Manchester United, and was speculated to leave the Red Devils for free next summer.

However, in recent advancements, according to a report by the Daily Record, De Gea has agreed a new deal with Manchester United, which will make him the highest earner at Manchester United.

De Gea will be raking in €15million, or £13.3m, after tax – which is around £255,000-a-week. It’s quite the leap when you consider his previous contract saw him earn in the region of £200,000 a week.

On the other hand, recently, Manchester United gaffer expressed how much he needs De Gea at the club and mentioned that he is a crucial player in the team.

“I want David to stay here. He knows that. And David’s, for me, the best goalkeeper in the world. We’ve seen that over the years, and I hope that I can make sure that he’ll finish his career at Man United at the highest level. There’s been loads of talks, loads of discussions between David and the club, and hopefully we can get it done.” said Ole Solskjaer.

Even though, De Gea is a highly rated goalkeeper, but his current form is no longer upholding it, since the 28-year-old goalkeeper have been making high-profile errors.

Thus, his valuation in the market is constantly falling down. Although, Manchester United has finalized to value his services and given him an upgraded contract.

The confirmation of contract extension is still awaited by Manchester United but the reports of it are rapidly increasing.
